Staying at Palestine Hotel Makkah was a mixed experience. The location, while busy, offered convenient access to eateries and landmarks like Bab Al Umrah and the Zamzam Well, enhancing our family bonding time. the room layout was awkward and the cleanliness left much to be desired. Noise levels were bothersome, and the shuttle service to the Haram was inconvenient. it failed to meet expectations for a 4-star hotel.

The location was excellent, very near to center with easy access to a market and shops. The rooms were a nice size and quiet with 4 beds.
There was shuttle to the airport to be added.

The hotel is clean and offers good value for money, with spacious rooms and a nice location. It's about a 15-minute walk to the Haram, but there's a shuttle service. Breakfast could use fresher fruit, and the staff might be more welcoming, but overall, it's a solid choice for Umrah.

Breakfast
Room service make noise by knocking the door and asking for if you need soap or tissue, ..... while this must be done during cleaning the room

Particularly good location near to city centre and Grand Mosque. Plus, right next to Masjid al Nur. Incredible breakfast, appetising food choice.

During my recent stay for a week, I appreciated the friendly atmosphere and helpful staff. Housekeeping was prompt with requests, and the breakfast offered a variety of options. The restaurant staff were welcoming, and I enjoyed the meals provided. The convenience of nearby eateries and the supermarket made it easy to grab essentials. the shuttle service, despite its timing, was a nice touch for accessing the holy sites.
100% Recommend this hotel.

Nothing. I absolutely hated it. The room was dirty. An inch of dust on furniture, blankets. Broken showers. Unfinished bathroom tiles. Filthy beds. Terrible breakfast. Smelly corridors. Instead of 4* I think it should maximum be a 2*hotel. Very Overpriced.

The hotel is close to Al-Haram, making prayer access easy.
I faced numerous inconveniences. First, the internet was practically non-existent, which left me feeling isolated without a way to connect. The lack of privacy in the bathroom due to an absent curtain. The location, while close to the Haram, was an exhausting 17-20 minute walk, particularly challenging during peak Umrah times. On my return from prayers, I felt overwhelmed and fatigued, not what I anticipated from my stay.

Although the distance from Al Haram is 1km, but it provides bus service every prayer to and from Al Haram starting one hour before Adhan and ends one hour after Adhan
The rooms are not clean - the breakfast (شغل مشي حالك) not fresh - the furniture is old needs to be refurbished - suit of 5 persons have only one bathroom so it is better to book two separate room (one double and one triple) to get two bathrooms - the rate is not 4 stars it should be 3 stars

The rooms were clean, although the hotel is a bit far from Al Haram, about a 15-minute walk, which can be a nuisance. the shuttle service before prayers was helpful. Despite some shortcomings, it’s a decent choice for families visiting for Umrah.
